The limits are set to high for standard doubledeck Pinochle. The settings are not flexible enough.

What limits are you referring to? There are settings to set the minimum bid value and the score needed to end the game. Everything else is auto calculated based on 25 possible tricks to be won in the playoff. I would love to fix an issue though if you can explain more what you mean!

Doesn't allow you to start a new hand so essentially on functions for one hand.

You can start a new hand, but not until the current hand is complete. I believe the issue is likely not having selected a trump suit for the current hand. Because this doesn't really affect gameplay, I am looking at removing the trump suit from being a required field.
